Course overview
A 6-month part-time online course to teach key concepts of diseases that are especially prevalent in tropical and developing countries where resources may be limited. The course runs two times per year, starting on April and October. The course is designed for online, self-study. Although the final assessment is held after 6 months, students can access course materials and join some of the live lectures according to their preference over a 12-month period.
The course has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 50 category 1 (external) CPD credits. On completion, students will receive certificates of attendance that state ‘Certificate in Tropical Medicine [International]’ has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 50 category 1 (external) CPD credits.
