Course overview
A 6-month (April to September) part-time online course to teach key concepts of diseases that are especially prevalent in tropical and developing countries where resources may be limited. Students can attend live lectures during April-June and access lecture recordings and other materials in their own time through the online learning system during July to September according to their preference. The course includes most of the didactic sessions from the DTM&H course but does not include laboratory practical sessions or interactive clinical case discussions. Assessment is with an online multiple-choice exam at the end of September. Applications will open in October 2021. The course fee is ¥200,000 JPN.
